* Post 1 (Introduction)*

“We are now reaching 50,000 feet and momentarily you may feel free to move about the cabin, once again thank you for choosing American Airlines.” the voice friendly whispered from a loud speaker and rang aloud the mob of tightly packed mixture of people of all ethnicities and background. The voice kind of startled Benjamin as he was trying not to think about how far he was going to be from everything and everyone he knew in his life. Benjamin pretended that he was not scared of the plane abruptly spinning out of control to plummet into the Canadian mountains below him. He tried to reason with himself that flying was safer than driving and that he should not be afraid of such nonsense. He sat in his shockingly comfortable semi reclining chair and in his mind thought of what he was going to do to entertain himself on this 26 hour series of flights that he had just embarked on. Since Benjamin was easily distracted and his mind was always churning with thoughts. He skipped from idea to idea, one being that he was going to listen to music on his brand new Compaq labtop that he was so recently fond of. Or he might just watch tv on the tiny screen implanted on the passenger seat in front of him. He final decision was to just watch in aww outside of his window as clouds swept past the airplane in such a graceful way. There he was, on his way to Seinajoki, Finland. Though he really did not know what exactly to expect of this foreign world called Scandinavia he was still excited and very much ready to step foot on this new land. Most of all he was ready to embark on a journey that, little did he know, would change his life forever! Eyes open wide Benjamin stared into the deep light blue eternity that seemed bottomless below him, eyes open wide with a stomach that was being ripped apart by butterflies he remembered what crazy addiction was pulling him away from what he called home…
